Aims and Scope
AL-MAQĀṢID: The International Journal of Maqāṣid Studies and Advanced Islamic Research (E-ISSN: 2735-1149) is dedicated to advancing scholarly discourse and research within the field of Maqāṣid Studies and Advanced Islamic Research. The journal aims to provide a platform for academics, researchers, and practitioners to explore and critically engage with the foundational principles of Islamic jurisprudence (uṣūl al-fiqh), the principles of jurisprudential maxims (qawā'id al-fiqhiyyah), and the objectives of Islamic law (maqāṣid al-sharī'ah).
The scope of AL-MAQĀṢID encompasses a wide range of topics, including but not limited to:
- Theoretical and conceptual frameworks of uṣūl al-fiqh, qawā'id al-fiqhiyyah and maqāṣid studies
