Therefore, the Journal has established the following archiving and repository policy:

  1. Institutional Repositories: The Journal encourages authors to deposit a copy of their published articles in their institutional repositories. This helps to ensure the long-term preservation and accessibility of their research within their academic institutions.

  2. Self-Archiving: Authors are permitted to self-archive preprints and postprints of their articles on personal websites, research networking sites, or other non-commercial platforms. However, authors must provide proper attribution to the Journal and include a link to the published version on the Journal's website.

  3. Journal Repository: The Journal maintains its own digital repository where all published articles are archived and made freely accessible to readers. The repository is designed to ensure the long-term preservation and accessibility of the Journal's content.

  4. Preservation Strategies: The Journal employs digital preservation strategies to safeguard its repository against data loss, format obsolescence, and technological changes. These strategies may include regular backups, migration to new file formats, and adherence to digital preservation best practices.

  5. Open Access: All articles published in the Journal are freely accessible to readers worldwide without any subscription or access fees. By adopting an open access model, the Journal aims to maximize the visibility, impact, and dissemination of scholarly research in the field of Maqāṣid Studies and Advanced Islamic Research.

  6. DOI Assignment: Each article published in the Journal is assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to provide a persistent link to the article's location in the Journal's repository. DOIs ensure the continued accessibility and citability of published articles over time.

The Journal is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of its content through the implementation of robust archiving and repository policies. These policies support the Journal's mission to advance knowledge and scholarship in the field of Maqāṣid Studies and Advanced Islamic Research while promoting open access and scholarly communication.
